5 Interior Design Blogs We Couldn't Live Without This cleanly designed and beautifully photographed blog is the creation of a generous interior designer. Vancouver based Patricia Gray shares her keen eye for style, takes us on trips around the world and points out the resources and materials that she enjoys using on a job. The later is particularly useful for interior designers. It's great to see a master designer work, to look at her resources as they appear in finished spaces, and get an analysis of why and how they function beautifully. You also get the bonus of a well-trained feng shui expert, layered on top of this interior designer, and you can better understand why Patricia's interiors exude calm, serenity, and strong flow.
Patricia Gray is an interior designer par excellence with a pedigree that would wow anyone. Her innovative design work has been featured all over the world, and in many different publications (including the renowned Architectural Digest). Patricia's warm style and originality have helped skyrocket her to the top of the interior design world, and her blog reflects this. Design 55 UK

Patricia, you give us aspects of the world that we might never see; ideas to inspire us, pictures that move us emotionally, a view to a kinder, more artistic world that lies within our reach. This must take time and energy, and I am most thankful for your blog. J Marie Goodwin Vancouver

What a great idea, thanks for this... love your post on Reds... happy holidays !!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fabulous idea!!! Thank you!
ReplyDeleteWishing you a wonderful Christmas and a New Year filled with love, happiness and laughter!!
Claudia.
How inspiring for the new year.
ReplyDeleteI love Lamy...and great pens in general. There's something rewarding about pulling out a nice pen to write with. It makes a mundane task seem special.
Happy Holidays.
Writing aspirations down on paper is such a wonderful thing. The power of such a little gesture every day can really make a difference in your life, so great for you!
ReplyDeleteI also find personally, that having and looking at my "Dream board" with photos of things I want to happen in my life is a great way to start any day.
I've decided to start my own blog as a "project" (I don't believe in resolutions), partly inspired by you and partly to further develop my own design identity and figure out what that is.
Merry Christmas to you and your family.
Sounds like a great book. I'll add it to my list. Have a wonderful New Year!!
ReplyDeleteoh, lamy makes the best fountain pens ever. i have several of them...
ReplyDeleteI just ordered it on your recommendation. Thanks! I bet it's good. I love the moleskin notebooks. They can be covered with wallpaper or fabric very easily. I covered two with some grasscloth remnants and it made it stouter.
ReplyDeletedon't make me order one of those pens too!!! I love great pens!
Hi Dale
ReplyDeleteWelcome to the world of Blogging and it is great to see a Blog from a Vancouver Designer.
Hi Halcyon
ReplyDeletePlease let me know how you enjoy the book. I am very sure you will get lots of inspiration from it.
Hi MM&I
ReplyDeleteI am glad you share my pen fetish and love to write with a nice pen.
Thanks for all your comments and please do take a few minutes and write down some things that you would like to happen in your life in 2008, even if you don't have the Lamy pen or the moleskin, anything will do.
ReplyDeleteAnd may everything you write for 2008 come to pass.
I too have a moleskin notebook, a tiny one. And I love it! I take it with me everywhere to jot down thoughts, great ideas, grocery lists. Did you know there's a blog for moleskin devotees?
ReplyDeletehttp://www.moleskinerie.com/
Hello Patricia! I have many things that I would love to have happen this year. I love your suggestion and I think it will be one of the first things I will do for myself.
ReplyDeleteHi Anon

Hi Marion

Hi Katie
ReplyDeleteWrite it down!!
i just stumbled upon your blog thru marion's blog... and then read this post. in the mindful and emotional preparation of a new year... the dreams and hopes and wishes and goals that it allows us, you reminded me of this book and that i had it lying around somewhere... still unread.
ReplyDeleteso thank you for the reminder that its time to start reading, and time to start writing in a new book... blank pages that are waiting to be filled with manifestations.
wishing you a most wonderful new year... and that all good things come true!
