1st PLACE for 'Best Interior Design' Patricia Gray Inc.

Patricia Gary Inc. worked closely with the client and General Contracter on this design-build renovation project, from architectural working drawings right through to completion and custom furnishings and artwork throughout by Patricia Gray. 

Custom leather swivel chairs by Patricia Gray Inc. The clients' Noguchi coffee table was re-purposed as an end table, signature lighting fixture from Spain and a beautiful view makes the perfect corner for morning coffee and reading the newspaper.

The space where the sofa sits was previously an unused guest bedroom. By removing the wall between this room and the before cramped living room, we were able to double the living space and increase the outstanding view of the Lions Gate Bridge, Stanley Park Marina and West Vancouver mountains.

Master Bedroom with leather padded headboard, waterfall walnut millwork and night tables with LED lighting. Motorized roller shades and motorized draperies are just some of the touches in this room. A flat screen TV and sound system are located on the wall opposite the bed.

This custom kitchen was designed and custom built for our clients to their requirements. She is a trained chef who likes to have all the tools of her trade at hand, but with a clean modern aesthetic. — at Bayshore Towers, Vancouver.

The backsplash is marble and glass tile. A tower pull out pantry on the left accomodates cooking and food items. Sub Zero refrigerator. There is a wine cooler under the island. Pull out cupboard for tray storage. All the storage requirements for a chef kitchen.

Patricia Gray is an amazing, talented  woman who has become one of the best interior designers in the world. For 31 years, the Vancouver based designer has been creating fantastic decor that has amazed and inspired so many people.

Patricia began her design training at Douglas College in Vancouver, studied at the prestigious  “Parson’s School of Design” in Paris, and at the Faculty of Architecture, University of Ferrara in Italy. She is also a certified Feng-Shui practitioner.

Patricia Gray is a member of the Inter-Society Color Council of New York, the National Council for Interior Design and she is part of the Interior Designers of Canada. A woman with so much recognition has, of course, worked in many different places: besides Canada and the US, Gray has made interior designs across Japan, Africa and Singapore.

I recently attended a private cooking demonstration and tasting brunch for interior designers in Vancouver with Top Chef Canada season three winner Matt Stowe. The event was hosted by Midland Appliances at their new showroom in Vancouver and GE Monogram to showcase their new line of contemporary designer kitchen appliances. Brunch was a two course tapas tasting with Chef Matt Stowe who put on quite a show for us well as the food being delicious. Thanks Chef Matt Stowe for the great eats!

With Two Northwest Design Awards

The Northwest's top designers were recognized at Seattle Design Center's annual Northwest Design Awards Gala held March 7,2013. The Northwest Design Awards competition recognizes interior design professionals whose work has made a significant contribution to the design industry. Projects are judged on the basis of problem solving, creativity, quality of design and beauty of the space.

Among those being honored was Vancouver Interior Designer Patricia Gray who won two awards for 'The Erickson' and 'Hamilton' project

The Northwest Design Awards Competition, now in its fourteenth year, recognizes the work of Pacific Northwest interior design professionals and celebrates the significant contribution design makes to life in our region. This year's theme, ‘CELEBRATE DESIGN’, offered designers a broad interpretation of how we use and occupy space.
