Thanks Decorno for that beautiful earthy poem.
ReplyDeleteHi Robyn
ReplyDeleteGlad you like this post.
I am so the fan of beige. It's such a yummy color! I'm glad you got me out of hiding since I often read your blog but have never posted.
ReplyDeleteIt's a skinny steamed milk with a shot of vanilla. Yummy.

Hi Liberty

Great post !! Guess what ? My favorite one is Alberto Pinto's room !!
ReplyDeleteSo chic
Great post! I love the choice of images, and their decriptions. So true, but how could Albert Hadley be wrong?! I love beiges, and creams, cappucinos, stones, bisques, ivories, caramels and chocolates - the whole lot!
ReplyDeleteSip Sip. I love it. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteHi Melanie
ReplyDeleteI think I already guessed that Alberto Pinto was your favourite.
Hi Suzy
Yes...How could Albert be wrong. I loved the images he evoked in that quotation of his. Beige is so timeless and so Chic.
Hi Liberty
A little eye candy to Sip, Sip with.
What an inspiring post. Doesn't it amaze you that the powerful tool of color can be used so uniquely in the hands of creative people.

This is a first! A post without pink or yellow or green. It is so beautiful, each image prettier than the next. I love your comments about the mood of each picture. Excellent, excellent - as usual.
ReplyDeleteJoni
Just when you think beige is lame, you find beautiful, inspiring spaces like these. Great post!
ReplyDeleteIf asked,I would say I loathe beige in any form...but, I'd be wrong. These rooms, each and every one are lovely.
ReplyDeleteThe Hotel Lux Marrakesh had me at hello ;) That's my idea of a chic night out on the town. White sheers, candles, low sofas. Too chic to tolerate. I adore the assortment of images, Patricia. I think it would take me two days to construct a post like this.
ReplyDeleteWow, great post!
ReplyDeleteGreat post, Patricia! I love seeing all of these exquisite variations of beige in one place, and especially your delightfully witty commentary about each image.
