How beautiful is this!
This screen has captured my attention. I love how the light shines through the colored glass. To fabricate the screen,
artist Susan Woods sawed blackened-steel tube into segments, welded them together, and inserted rounds of
colored glass.

Patricia,
ReplyDeleteFrom an artist perspective it's "live art", from a designer's perspective it's "visually fulfilling", and from a client's perspective it's "awesome". Can't ask for more fabulous can we...love it.

ReplyDeleteStunning! I love it, thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteLooking at the screen reminds me of a video produced by a Ogden native named Gadi Leshem. The video is about a dachshund being the chairman of the board on the one of the top winery in Napa, California. The screen looks like an entire winery shelf, and the sunlight passing through it further accentuates the colors, and gives it life. Here's the link for the video I'm talking about if anyone is interested. http://www.bizazzmedia.com/ludwig/

This screen compliments not only the interior of the room but the view and location of the building. The black factory framed windows outline the colors of the view from the window and this screen mimics the view and colors seen, even with the black iron framing the colored glass.
ReplyDeleteJust lovely...
Love that screen!

ReplyDeleteSo relaxing, just a beautiful solution to the room
ReplyDeleteWow, that is really an artistic output. Very elegant and stylistic yet easy on the pocket - if I guess it right. I so love it being designed into my very plain living room.
ReplyDeleteWow - absolutely stunning. Is that in someone's personal home? I could also see it working well in a restaurant at the entrance.
ReplyDeleteMade me think of camera lens filters...
