They make me happy too! Very clean and fresh. Have a great weekend.
ReplyDeleteThe silver shards of light that tingle on the surface of the river at night make me happy. As does the pink velvet of the cat's nose when she's resting peacefully.
ReplyDeleteThe maroon of the candle that burns beside my laptop as I write words in black on white. This makes me happy too.
Lovely pictures and very inspiring. Colour abounds.
A fresh Aquamarine colour makes me happy, any shade of turquoise and somewhere a splash of orange. Today I bought white flowers and also a dark red gerbera for my bathroom, same hue of your Hermes cups, which makes me happy too.
ReplyDeleteThat is today, tomorrow it may be a different chapter.
Hi Patricia!
ReplyDeletemy favorite LV bag and my favorite sunglasses- I can never have too many Chanel sunglasses!

yellow and blue, from sky blue, hyacinth, to colbalt, and terra cotta, then there is the magenta/purple of bouganvillea against a white/pale brick wall in the hot son, yellow from white hot to coral.....all the colors of heat....and then the cool, cool greens that play off it.....no beiges, greys, or dung colors for me.........................
ReplyDeleteI love the coffee cup! I would.
ReplyDeletePatricita,
ReplyDeleteMy favourite colours are the different shades of gray that a silver piece can reflect, the shadow of a sculpture reflected in a walnut hardwood floor, the glow of a candle, the turquoise water of the Caribbean, the colours in a summer salad, the green moss in stone, the colour of the sky on the sunsets and melted chocolate icecream in a kids face.
I love sunshine yellow===but in this heat I think the all white is equally appealing :)
ReplyDeleteLove your Hermes cups! Green and white with a bit of pink thrown in for good measure always make me feel happy. Have a lovely weekend Patricia! Tracey xx
ReplyDeleteI love the branches in the beaker vases! Well, everything you have here is wonderful!
ReplyDelete(the first image is fun)
the colour of other happy humans make me happy . . . In Gulf arabic language they say "sh'lon'eck?" what is your colour ?to say "how are you?"
ReplyDeleteI guess colour has a lot to do with you happyness
in decorating, turquoise and sunny yellow are the two colors that never fail to make me smile (though not necessarily when used together).
ReplyDeletein life, the warm brown and vibrant green of the eyes of my dog and cat (respectively) are what makes me the happiest.

ReplyDeletexx thanks
This moment all shades of blue because i am trying to paint a sky for my painting class.
ReplyDeleteLove your Hermes cups!
Have a lovely weekend.
I think that today my favorite color is the bright green grass on my spring lawn. It is glistening from the drops of water from the nights rain, as the sun rises it sparkles and seems almost luminous. After a long winter, the bright green grass seems like a lovely gift.

All I would need is that hermes cup and saucer with that yummy esspresso inside :) Wait a sec...I have had the pleasure- thanks!! I picture you now, with that cup at your desk, starting your day...
ReplyDeleteI have a long sleeve, button summer shirt that is bright coral with white palms on it. It's a bit bold, and whenever I open my closet and see it there I smile. I wear it on those odd grey, rainy summer days and it lifts my spirits (and everyone's in the office too). Great post.
ReplyDeleteI love the all white bathroom. It's so fresh and fun.
ReplyDeleteHi Patricia-
ReplyDeleteI want you to know how much I enjoy reading your blog. I love your style. The images are fantastic!

Hi Patricia,
ReplyDeletecolours are really giving interior design so many options.
Many projects I do for clients, the purpose of function often sets the final descision for colouring.....as long as the shade is right, that's the tricky part.
I hope all is well and have a sweet weekend.
Ingela
I adore your weekend outfit and after a long day of shopping, getting into that lovely tub with some bubbles and a little bubbly would be fab!
ReplyDeleteBlessings...
Different colors at different times according to different moods :)
ReplyDeletebut earthy tones mixed with greens seem to always do the trick
Cara Patricia,
ReplyDeleteWhat about the latte in the white bathroom - looking out of the window and the azur blue summer sky. I want it all! Thanks for lovely post! Buon week-end & bacione! Ingrid in Umbria
I'm crazy about orange! Funny... that's a new colour love for me. And today my honey bought me a sunflower in a pot for Mum's Day... yellow sunflowers are always so cheerful and fill me with pleasure!

Colour is so critical, and so subjective! Beautiful image choices, Patricia!
ReplyDeleteThese are all wonderful, love the branches, the blue sky of the over the terasse and after my bath in that bathroom a little Gucci, Hermes or Chanel would not hurt either...and somebody would bring me that espresso, well my day would be made.
ReplyDeleteHappy Mother's Day!

Great Post! All shades of white make me happy, with a jolt of red and black for good measure.

I love all your choices. I just took a walk in my (Calgary) garden (we are rather behind) and what made me happy was the bright green shoots coming up from the ground. Also my double-flowering plum in the front window. And the yellow Mums a friend gave me after Dad died, which are still holding on. And for some crazy reason, anything orange is making me very happy these days. Oh, and my African violet flowered (violet!) for the first time - it must like neglect.
ReplyDelete:)
I'm smiling! I guess they make me happy too!
ReplyDeletexoxo,
Cathleen

ReplyDeleteColors I love keep changing with the seasons. I'd have to say mauve is my color favorite. In winter it looks gray and in summer it looks like lavender-lilac.
