These are lovely and they actually look comfortable. I cut through Neiman Marcus yesterday on my way to the hairdresser...all the fall clothes...be still my heart!

Ever since I discovered Tori Burch flats, all of my stilettos have been severely neglected. They are so comfy I can't bear to wear anything else. Also, Tori Burch online is having a GREAT sale right now - i just picked up a dress, skirt, and loafers for a song. The flats also show up periodically at Neiman Marcus last call at about 40% off.

shoes should be comfortable. i won't buy shoes b/c of brands and shouldn't have to break shoes in.

I totally agree with you that shoes should be comfortable. I always go shopping with that attitude, but I have been known to fall in love with shoes that are not totally comfortable, but that I absolutely love and think that they will break-in. End up buying them and they sit in the closet.
My Motto....never say never in life, as it can come back to kick you in the butt!!
I am reading "The Architecture of Happiness" by Alain de Botton which in turn has inspired me to reread "A Timeless Way of Building". Both highly recommended.
